Job Summary:
We are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator I to join our healthcare team.
The Patient Services Coordinator I will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and followup visits
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
- Maintain and update patient records in accordance with privacy regulations
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to healthcare providers
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing questions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the clinic operations
