    SUMMARY
    :

    Baker Electric is reshaping its Human Resources organization as we continue to grow and understand the importance of focusing on our most important asset our people.

    To aid in this initiative, were in search of a proactive, dedicated, passionate and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator.

    Our next Human Resources Coordinator will have proven experience in team member engagement, onboarding, new hire orientations, reporting, and HR day-to-day support.

    The ideal candidate for this position will be a Human Resources professional who recognizes the significance of cultivating trust through transparent and consistent communication, relentless follow-through, and a genuine comprehension of the business dynamics to enhance how HR aligns with our comprehensive goals.

    Your contribution will play a pivotal role in shaping the evolving company culture and actively contributing to the formulation of the new HR mission statement.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Coordinate and administer the entire onboarding process, this includes:

    setting up new hires in the HRIS and payroll systems ensuring accurate data entry; meticulously managing onboarding paperwork; completing I-9/E-Verify process; coordinating with the IT department for the setup of technology; track completion of the mandatory harassment prevention training; coordinating and conducting weekly New Hire Orientations to foster a positive introduction to our company culture.

    Proactively engage with new hires during their initial 60-90 days, providing a supportive POC for questions and/or concerns.

    Uphold the integrity of employee records by meticulously managing data entry, file organization, and record retention within the HRIS and payroll systems.

    Prepare comprehensive HR reports and proactively update data as necessary.
    Assist the Sr.

    HR Generalist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by conducting detailed reviews and audits of various compliance related initiatives throughout the year.

    This includes assisting with the completion of annual EEO reports, CA Pay Data Reporting, and the review of the Employee Handbook, policies, forms, and pamphlets.

    Support the Sr. HR Generalist in the administration and coordination of leaves of absences, showcasing an understanding of relevant leaves and processes.
    Offer crucial support in new hire benefits enrollment and respond to benefits-related questions throughout the year.

    Coordinate and set up various wellness program initiatives (i.e., financial wellness workshops with various vendors, wellness workshops, and other employee activities.) Actively contribute to the Events Committee as needed.

    Provide day-to-day administrative support, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, time-management, and organizational capabilities.
    Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
    EXPERIENCE,


    EDUCATION
    :

    2-4 years of related experience in a relevant Human Resource role.
    Bachelors degree is preferred but not required.
    Proven experience with overseeing the onboarding and New Hire Orientation process.
    Experience with Ceridian Dayforce a plus or knowledge of other HRIS systems is preferred.
    Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
    Excellent intrapersonal and customer service skills.
    Excellent organizational skills.
    Excellent attention to detail and work accuracy.
    Working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
    Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
    Ability to function well in a high-paced and high-volume tasked environment.
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
