Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Assist with all aspects of Logistics, Imports, Data Entry & General Admin work.
- Enter PO's, Bills, etc. in QuickBooks
- Make invoices in QuickBooks and send to customers and assigning to the factor.
- Planning, monitoring, and record keeping of all overseas shipments/containers.
- Planning, shipping of Domestic, POE and DDP shipments within the PO ship windows
- Tracking of overseas shipments/containers on various shipping line and seaport websites
- Coordinate with forwarders for timely customs clearance, etc. of overseas shipments.
- Coordinate with Drayage, LTL carriers, etc. for domestic inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage 3rd party warehouses by providing them with proper shipping information and paperwork.
- Routing of orders, creating packing lists, labels, and bill of ladings for shipping. Knowledge of EDI preferred.
- Answer phones and Carry out necessary administrative duties as required.
- Assist in developing process improvements to improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
Good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft office and QuickBooks needed.
Self-driven and motivated
Able to work efficiently with mínimal supervision.
Pay:
$42, $50,743.55 per year
