Join our successful Mainframe team where we provide the basic infrastructure on the Mainframe platform (z/OS 2.4 with DB2 V12, IMS DB V15, and CICS TS 5.6). We operate a Parallel Sysplex environment on 2 z15 machines in 2 data center locations with synchronized mirrored DASD and (virtual) tape storage in Datasharing. We ensure the smooth operation and security of the Mainframe system for DEVK. Our backup procedures are regularly tested through restore tests.

What you should bring:

  • Several years of professional experience as a z/OS system programmer with a focus on DB2 support in Datasharing environments
  • Excellent knowledge of DB2, TSO, ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and REXX
  • Good knowledge of IBM DB2 tools (DB2 Automation Tool, DB2 Utility Suite, DB2 Administration Tool, DB2 Object Comparison, and Data Replication for z/OS)
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills
  • Good communication skills, reliability, motivation, team spirit, and a confident appearance complete your profile
