    Maintenance Mechanic III - Nashua, United States - St Mary's Health System

    Description

    Summary # This position will provide an internal review of operations, documentation, and follow through of the Facilities Programs and Systems of the Facilities Management Department to provide the best possible working environment for Patients, Visitors, and Staff.

    # Essential Duties and Responsibilities # Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. Assists with Hospital projects and programs implemented to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Facilities Department. Assist in the review of RFP documents. Other duties as consistent with this role.

    # Job Requirements # Job Knowledge and Skills DNV, OSHA, and other related Health Care organizational knowledge Ability to tour all parts of the facility to ensure building, programs, and systems are in place and meet requirements.

    Ability to work with and train others, if necessary, on Facilities operations # Education and Experience Previous DNV, JCAHO, and other related Health Care organization experience with direct involvement in ongoing preparation to meet/exceed standards.

    Working knowledge of MEP Systems within the system. Ten or more years in the facilities Operations of the hospital system.

    # An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

    # # # Working Conditions/Physical Demands Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with this position that involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.

    Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.# Some stress related to high level of responsibility for quality care.
