Plant Engineering Facilities Mechanic III role will be maintenance of infrastructure and services supporting BAE's Goff's Falls Road (MNH30/31) and MAN18 Hanger Facilities both located in Manchester New Hampshire.
The MNH30/31 facility sits on a 45 acre site and is comprised of two newly renovated 4-story connected structures totaling approximately 210,000 square feet of space supporting various internal businesses and functions.
Additionally all supporting infrastructure is newly installed including central chiller plant, HW boilers, steam boilers, electrical distribution, generators, roofing system, elevators, fire alarm systems, security systems, and IT infrastructure to name a few.
All grounds have been upgraded including entryways, roadways and parking lots. Full building occupancy is projected to be approximately 700+ people.(Currently 650) This role provides opportunity to work in a large multifaceted facilities organization as well as offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
The successful candidate will be part of a Plant Engineering Team that maintains and operates building infrastructure consisting of a variety of industrial spaces.
A successful candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative environment with strong communication skills and knowledge of industrial processes and building operations.
Support space planning; Responsible in maintaining inventory control of used furniture for the facility. May pick-up and deliver urgently needed materials and perform miscellaneous stock retrieval duties as required.Operates fork lift or hand trucks as required to move supplies and recycling bins.
Installs, moves and removes a variety of light, medium and heavy equipment using special tools and equipment such as staging, hoists and rigging.
Erects and secures staging, hoists and rigging in compliance with codes and safety practices.Installs, maintains and dismantles a wide variety of facility equipment. Must be capable of working from blueprints, equipment drawings, schematics and manufactures specification and literature.
Must be capable of performing periodic maintenance inspection on all types of facilities infrastructure and equipment.
Must have a great customer service demeanor and be capable of working with outside contractors and vendors.
Interfaces with local project management, plant engineering, and contractor to obtain, furnish, and/or exchange information as necessary for efficient and effective completion of required project tasks.
Carpentry (including sheetrock installs and repairs, floor tile repairs, painting)Installs, moves and removes a variety of light, medium and heavy equipment using special tools and equipment such as staging, hoists and rigging.
Erects and secures staging, hoists and rigging in compliance with codes and safety practices.May be required to clean and service equipment that may contain hazardous substances and to participate in the sorting and accumulation of hazardous waste materials in accordance with the Federal, State and Local regulators.
May be required to participate on special teams including but not limited to: snow removal, emergency response and must be responsive to off-hour emergenciesMust be able to operate within a computerized maintenance work order system. Requires a High School diploma, or GED, and at least two (2) years of general maintenance experience.
Requires indoor as well as outdoor work in varying temperatures and weather.
Basic computer skills, Time management, and good communication skills both verbally and electronically preferred.
Full-Time Salary Range:
$ $87340
This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
