    Description

    Role: IT Technical Specialist

    Location: Waukegan, IL

    Duration: 11 Months

    Job description:

    • The Senior IT Specialist will oversee a client area spanning multiple countries, divisions, and domains. This role involves leading both offshore and onsite teams from service partners, managing team activities related to Global, Divisional, and local systems.
    • Collaboration with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) and Regional IT contacts is essential, providing oversight of business requirements and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
    • The role requires proficiency in SAP ERP environment, particularly in SAP-SCM, SAP-PTP, SAP-APO, and SAP-Ariba, with experience in SAP SRM considered a plus. Effective communication with business users and offshore teams is paramount, as this role leads all support-related activities, including end-to-end support, performance reporting, and SLA development and monitoring.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in IT or a complementary business field.
    • 10-13 years of IT experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
    • Prior management experience.
    • Proficiency in problem determination and resolution.
    • Strong collaboration and partnering skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of business environment, service requirements, and culture.
    • Process-oriented with an understanding of process costs.
    • Ability to achieve results through relationship-building.
    • Firm yet fair approach to operational deliverables.
