    About the team:

    The acclaimed FIS Insurance Risk Suite streamlines and oversees all actuarial processes, ensuring cost-effective compliance and swift responses to the evolving risks in the market.

    We are seeking a Senior Actuarial Product Development Manager to join our US Actuarial Library team, dedicated to enhancing the US libraries associated with the FIS Insurance Risk Suite (Prophet) solution.

    Operating at the forefront of the insurance modeling sector, we equip insurers and reinsurers globally with the tools and support required to effectively handle their risks.

    Within the US Actuarial Library team, you will elevate Prophet's modeling capabilities to meet the demands of customers related to insurance products and regulatory changes impacting the US insurance landscape.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Developing actuarial code for the US liability libraries, particularly focusing on life insurance products
    • Reviewing peers' actuarial code for accuracy and suitability
    • Ensuring product deliverables are well-documented and appropriate
    • Collaborating closely with other actuarial teams to provide comprehensive solutions
    • Managing work assignments for other actuarial staff

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in life insurance products within a life insurance department or consultancy
    • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or Member of the American Academy of Actuaries
    • Demonstrated extensive experience with the Prophet system or alternative actuarial modeling platforms
    • Background in insurance or financial services
    • Familiarity with US insurance industry regulatory frameworks
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Additional advantages:

    • Understanding of potential performance bottlenecks and solutions in modeling
    • Technical knowledge of programming, systems development, and cloud infrastructure
