    Summary



    DCSA's Logistics Management Office (LMO) is looking for an Inventory Management Specialist to perform a wide range of inventory management functions in support of the DCSA Quantico Regional Asset Management Center (AMC). This job requires a logistics specialist with the ability to monitor equipment from cradle to grave, and process equipment documents for DCSA.     Duties


    As a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

    • Serves as an Inventory Management Specialist performing a wide range of inventory management functions throughout the equipment life cycle in support of the DCSA Equipment Management Office, participating in the execution and planning of assignments in the areas of accountable property and supply.
    • Participates in accountability, disposition and audit trail procedures for an account in excess of $127M, while maintaining all records pertaining to equipment and supplies in current status.
    • Conducts internal surveys to ensure DoD/DCSA policies are correctly implemented.
    • Applies technical and subject matter knowledge in problem solving and provides technical advice and guidance to DCSA personnel regarding property accountability and procedural/policy guidelines.

    Fort Meade, MD (also use for Linthicum, MD)

    All U.S. Citizens who live or reside in the Fort Meade local commuting area, which includes the District of Columbia and Baltimore City; Maryland counties of Anne Arundel, Prince George, Montgomery, Howard, Harford, Charles, Calvert, Carroll, Frederick and Baltimore; Adams County in Pennsylvania; City of Alexandria, VA; Virginia counties of Arlington, Stafford, Prince William, and Fairfax and all cities existing in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania within the geographic area bounded by the outer boundaries of the combined areas of the aforementioned counties.
