Business Development Representative (Entry-Level)
NEXGEN Asset Management
The Business Development Representative is part of the Business Development team and will report to the VP of Business Development.
JOB DUTIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and key stakeholders within the municipalities, utilities, and facility markets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with decisionmakers, influencers, and industry partners to understand their needs and pain points.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials to drive awareness and interest in NEXGEN's solutions.
- Effectively communicate NEXGEN's value propositions and benefits to prospects, highlighting how our EAM/CMMS software can address their specific challenges and goals.
- Qualify leads and opportunities, ensuring alignment with our target market segments and criteria.
- Manage and update prospect information and interactions in the CRM system to track progress and facilitate followup activities.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent NEXGEN and expand our presence within the target markets.
- Assist with the development of sales presentations, proposals, and other collateral as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customerfacing roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and prospects effectively.
- Selfmotivated and resultsoriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Interest in technology and a desire to pursue a career in sales or business development within the software industry.
