- Familiarity with the electromagnetic engineering and development cycle of electric motor components.

- Leadership experience guiding junior engineers and technicians.
- Spearheading the design process for motor controller products and their control algorithms, including V/Hz, vector control (both sensed and sensorless), regenerative control, among others.
- Utilizing tools like Matlab for computer simulations to validate designs and forecast performance.
- Crafting schematics for low-voltage controller hardware and aiding in the creation of mixed-signal circuits, sensor interfaces, signal conditioning, protection circuits, and other common power electronics circuits.
- Establishing protection alarms, trip thresholds, and feedback loop controls, as well as customer interfaces, product programming parameters, and communication frameworks.
- Contributing to the creation of Bills of Materials, block diagrams, wire lists, point-to-point diagrams, and component specifications for internal documentation and customer support.
- Assisting in the development and execution of testing protocols for power converters and motor drives.
- Engaging in laboratory testing.
- Designing and acquiring laboratory test equipment and instrumentation.
- Performing system reliability assessments.
- Evaluating customer needs and specifications for motor drive control and supporting sales and marketing in proposal development.
- Producing product specifications and documentation.
- Aiding in system installation, startup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at our lab or customer sites.
- Mentoring and training junior engineers.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends in power converters and motor drive controls.
- Serving as a subject matter expert within the company.
- Managing small to medium-sized projects to meet financial targets and maintain strong customer relationships, accountable to the operations board for project outcomes.
