Job Type

ROLE
AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be willing to work flexible schedules and work in other departments including weekends and holidays
- Ability to set up machines, and conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, and monitors to ensure all is running efficiently.
- Ability to work in a standing position for the entire shift including climbing steps and ladders
- Monitors and assists with equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.
- Follow packaging schedule, quality control, and sanitation procedures concerning, weights, packs, descriptions, Best Buy dates, clean up, and changeovers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Ability to clean machines and work areas properly during and after production runs or changeovers
- Observe all plant safety, GMPs, and allergen procedures and attend appropriate training sessions.
- Ability to assist in other departments
- Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements
- Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your supervisor
- Responsible for collaborating with others; Sharing knowledge, skills, and information within your team and across functional areas.
- Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Follow supervisor's directives and be able to support the shift team as needed.

Experience:
Must have experience with operating and maintaining the machines and ensuring the entire production line is running efficiently.
PREFERRED
SKILLS
Must be able to communicate with others as well as management
Must understand FDA guide lines and company policies. Mathematical skills Bilingual is preferred, Tracks performance data and communicates exceptions.
Requirements:

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
