Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office setting. This position requires data entry, appointment scheduling, and good customer service.


Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Verify patient information, insurance and update medical records
• Collect patient copays and process insurance information
• Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and address their inquiries or concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations of the office

Skills:

• Experience working with medical records and performing medical administrative support tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes

Requirements:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus
• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist preferred but not a required
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a healthcare setting

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
