Dîner en Noir Worldwide, a subsidiary of HNC Enterprises, Incorporation, is a rapidly growing social enterprise and event production organization with a focus on addressing inequalities in arts programming, small business development, and health/wellness education in underserved communities globally. We host exclusive events for our members, supporting Black professionals, artists, and businesses through networking gatherings and annual fundraising galas that honor Black excellence.

We are currently looking for an Events & Membership Specialist to join our corporate HQ team. As a crucial part of Dîner en Noir, you will contribute significantly to our growth and success.

Your role will involve recruiting new members and Brand Ambassadors, ensuring high retention rates, and promoting memberships within the Black professional community. Additionally, you will manage all event production processes to provide exceptional experiences for our members and attendees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Membership Acquisition: Identify and attract potential new members and Brand Ambassadors through outreach and networking events. Develop strategies to grow our membership base.
  • Retention Strategy: Enhance member satisfaction and loyalty through initiatives and personalized support.
  • Community Engagement: Be a resource on Dîner en Noir, participate in community events, and recruit partners for collaborations.
  • Sales and Marketing: Create marketing campaigns and collaborate on content to attract and engage members.
  • Collaboration: Work with other team members and executives to meet organizational goals and support events.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in event production, sales, or membership management.
  • Strong knowledge of the local community and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer service and relationship-building.
  • Proactive attitude and strong organizational skills.

Compensation & Commission:
  • Up to $3,500.00 per annual Signature Event, paid in 3 installments.
  • 25% of revenue from weekly/monthly Salon Events.
