Located in North Carolina, we specialize in manufacturing sophisticated electromechanical and electro-hydraulic control systems for aircraft and helicopter engines.
Our products cater to both commercial and military applications, requiring precision and adherence to stringent quality standards.As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for conducting standard testing processes on a variety of equipment, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with industry-specific tests and testing equipment.
This role demands mechanical and technical experience, along with proficiency in computer operations and teamwork.Utilize precision tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment for assembly, in-process inspections, calibration, and testing of hydro-mechanical fuel controls in an aerospace production/quality environment.
Follow electronic work instructions, engineering and quality procedures, blueprints, and specifications.Perform visual inspections of parts and products to maintain quality standards.
Identify and report faulty operations, defective tools, and materials, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in work areas and tools according to Visual Management and 5S Principles.
Proficiency in following detailed assembly and test instructions, interpreting blueprints/drawings.
Basic computer skills, including internet navigation and MS Office.
2-3 years of experience in an assembly and/or test manufacturing environment.
~ Six Sigma training or certification.
~ Training will be provided on the job during first shift hours.
Overtime must be pre-approved by Honeywell supervisor before any hours are accrued by the employee.
