- We are seeking a qualified fulltime, _Safety Supervisors_ _to join our paratransit team in Philadelphia, PA
- Job Description:_ _Oversees location safety and training activities, including scheduling, organizing and conducting initial and ongoing employee training and coaching, appropriately documenting employee safety performance, performing wheelchair securement certifications and ride alongs and responding to incidents and accidents.
- Minimum requirements are:
- Knowledge of principles and methods used for teaching and instructing individuals and groups and measuring the effectiveness of training
- Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card issued by a companyauthorized healthcare provider
- Effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities necessary to identify others' developmental needs and best help others to improve their knowledge and skills
- Cooperative, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- Dependable, stresstolerant and adaptable nature, with experience in a fastpaced, multifunctional environment preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Duties and responsibilities include:
- Assists in conducting new hire orientation and initial driver training, including both classroom and onroad instruction
- Provides appropriate road training and observation to ensure drivers' adherence to policy and training procedures and compliance with key performance areas
- Assesses drivers on the basis of customer service, passenger assistance, proper wheelchair/mobility aid securement, vehicle inspection, and more
- Performs ridealongs to observe drivers' compliance with key performance areas
- Responds to accidents and incidents while reporting them appropriately
