About the Opportunity
Asplundh Tree Experts (Asplundh) is seeking a Operations Support Specialist to join the Asplundh Innovate Team,

reporting to the Digital Engagement Lead.
The Digital Innovation Team provides digital technology & solutions across key parts of the business. They are a diverse international team that operates across all levels of the business.
The successful candidate will

:

Provide virtual and onsite support & training to Asplundh Field Crews, Site Offices, and customers across the contiguous United States.

Assist with translating field operational needs into prioritized development, improvement, and support tasks for the Digital Innovation Team.
Assist with communicating broad-picture context of field application functionality and purpose to field-based users.

Create digital training, engagement, and support content in both written and video formats for use by tree crews and other field personnel.

Assist in driving the use of technology across utility vegetation management (UVM) culture in the United States to elevate the cost-efficiency and empirical effectiveness of UVM programs through technology and data-driven management.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management, and training skills.
Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing;
Video creation and editing experience;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are adaptive to a variety of audiences, including development/project teams, clients, and executive-level leadership;
Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints;
Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues;
Experience working in utility vegetation management field operations (preferred

)
Experience with MS Office suite including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerBI, and OneNote (preferred)
Experience with ClickUp or similar task management platform (preferred)
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123 (preferred).

Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must have sufficient eyesight to judge distance/coordination of equipment and tools, be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work assignments, be able to wear personal protective equipment as necessary, be able to enter and exit a vehicle numerous times a day, have the endurance necessary to traverse various terrain, be capable of performing job duties throughout a standard 8- or 10-hour day, be able to communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and communicate and handle conflict professionally.

About Us:

As a full-service utility contractor, Asplundh performs tree pruning and removals, right-of-way clearing and maintenance, vegetation management with herbicides, and emergency storm work and logistical support.

Asplundh is the parent company of UtiliCon Solutions whose subsidiaries provide overhead and underground line construction, planning and design, meter reading and AMR/AMI installation, electrical testing, and street lighting/traffic signal services.

Asplundh also operates Rotor Blade Airborne Utilities Management, overhead electric distribution, and transmission lines using MD 500 helicopters.
