    Position:
    We are looking for multiple experienced product innovation and R&D specialists to join the frozen/chilled/ambient meat production team to drive the brand's development in China. These are remote contract working positions. According to the company's product strategy, the personnel are responsible to provide complete manufacturing processes, product formulas, equipment configurations, shelf-life validations, and on-site guidance prior to final product implementation.     Responsibilities:
    • From the global view of meat food industry, provide technical guidance on R&D, QA, inspection, equipment, procurement etc., make plans and drive solutions for the company's research and development system.
    • Through market research, identify new product opportunities for the global market, and develop new product launch plan and market operation plan accordingly.
    • Based on requirements from both global market and company internal, own and manage the end-to-end process of new product development from concept ideation to commercialization, ensuring timely and successful launches.
    • Define the technical standards of new product processes, provide guidance on training, complete all relevant documentations including the design of raw materials, ingredients, recipes, and packaging, etc.
    • Based on customer needs, utilize global leading technology to drive product process improvement in areas such as making, flavor, color, taste, shape, etc.
    • Provide technical support in troubleshooting and resolving product issues by collaborating with cross functional departments.
    • Provide business support of imported equipment by assisting technical discussion, machine installation and testing, evaluate and improve the utilization rate with the promotion of automation.
    • Assist in the establishment and training of the company's technical competency team and align with the company's strategic plan of talent development.

    Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of experience in food/meat product development.
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science.
    • Experience in the technical development of global meat products such as biltong, beef jerky, air-dried beef strips, frozen hamburgers, bacon, sausages, ham etc.
    • Ability to create and develop recipes for frozen, refrigerated and room-temperature meat products.
    • Strong awareness of food quality control with solid knowledge of quality management systems.
    • Project management and cross-functional teamwork experience with strong business logic reasoning skills.
    • Working experience with Jimmy Dean, Hillshire Farm, Jack Link's, Bridgford, Buddig, Old Trapper, Johnsonville or other meat companies is preferred.
