Part-time employment is possible if necessary.


Job description:


  • Collaboration in the further development of the software Moses, developed at TU Berlin, in the area of student administration, particularly for the development of registration and allocation for tutorials, practicals, projects, labs, seminars, etc. (semesterbased or in block format)

Expected qualifications:


  • Successfully completed academic education (Master's, Diploma or equivalent), preferably in the field of computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of objectoriented software development, particularly Java-EE
  • Extensive experience in agile software development
  • Experience with software testing
  • Indepth knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Very good knowledge and experience with database management systems, preferably PostgreSQL
  • Experience with interfaces (e.g. REST-API) desirable
  • Very good knowledge of version control software GIT
  • Teamwork skills and willingness to work with colleagues in development and testing
  • High level of independence, strong analytical thinking, quick and good comprehension, very goaloriented/cooperative work style
  • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form; willingness to learn the missing language skills
