Job Purpose


To oversee and manage daily operations at the New York Beach Club seasonally with year round potential at another location.

Job entails hands-on management of the facilities and staff, and is expected to run each department in an efficient, profitable and customer-oriented manner.

To maintain a level of professionalism with staff and members at all times. To maintain club integrity and enforce all rules and regulations.

$8,000 - $12,000 per month


Duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee and draft a club schedule, daily beach club operations during the beach club season.
  • Manage human resources and review and correct daily clock ins and outs.
  • Responsible for assisting in training, and managing of NYBC staff members.
  • Assist in management of membership, and customer relations.
  • Ensure safety and maintenance of the facility and club property.
  • Implement, manage and oversee all social media, marketing, and advertising campaigns with requisitions.
  • Create and report to the owner on all financial and operational reports weekly and monthly.
  • Maintain all vendor relationships to operate the entertainment and events calendars for the beach club season.
  • Create, staff and oversee weekend entertainment schedules throughout the season, as well as weekly membership communication drafts.
  • Collaborate operation of lunch and dinner, as well as private catered events at NYBC with Restaurant Manager and Chef.
  • Must be familiar with operations such as food, concession, dinner service, maintenance, housekeeping, valet, lifeguards, the pool pumps and heaters, cabana crew, arts and crafts, and office staff.
  • Work with the provided calendar of events, and build additional events to drive revenue and membership.
  • Must know all club procedures, protocols, rules, and policies.
  • Must have a comprehensive list of key and emergency contacts for the club.
  • Must be aware and compliant with all Health Department rules and regulations.
  • Manage and track daily financial intake and expenses and deposits.

Working conditions
Must be able to work weekends, long hours and holidays during summer months. Camera systems will be operational and can be used at all times from the Manager's office.

A walk through the club property must be done at a daily minimum of four times (9am, 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm).


Scheduled Days and Hours for 2024
May 15th - September 10th

  • Five/Six day work week ( M, W, TH, F, S, SU)
September 11th - October 1st

  • As needed, to be determined in August

Systems and Reporting
Please familiarize yourself with the following systems and what they are used for.

  • QuickBooks
  • Member invoicing and payment records.


  • ClubReady/Gymdesk

  • Front gate POS, Member and Guest management and tracking.


  • Square

  • Restaurant and Bar POS and payroll.


  • Camera System

  • CCTV for the entire property for security and safety.
