Associate - Energy & M&A - Renewable Finance - Boones Mill, VA

The Role:
Contribute to the development, structuring, and execution of projects in Europe.

As an Associate, you will work closely with Directors and Partners, gaining valuable experience in groundbreaking solar PV, onshore wind, energy storage, and other renewable energy projects across the continent.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the origination and execution of financing and M&A processes.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, including discounted cash flow valuations and scenario analyses.
  • Create essential marketing and commercial documents, such as teasers, information memoranda, and reports.
  • Manage projects involving multiple external parties.
  • Assist in due diligence processes.
  • Contribute to research, writing, and proofreading of market intelligence for marketing materials.
  • Actively participate in the dynamic office culture of our young company, dedicated to continuously improving the quality of our services.

Required Skills:


  • Exceptional Excel modeling skills, preferably with experience in VBA.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, highpressure environment, effectively prioritizing and completing tasks.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to take initiative while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, excelling both independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to a nontechnical audience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ideally, 23 years of relevant professional experience
