    Required:
    • Current State of Tennessee nursing licensure
    • BLS certification completed before starting and maintained thereafter
    • Completion of Tennessee licensure or multistate licensure from a compact state within three months of hire for non-Tennessee residents

    Department Position Summary:
    • The employee must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for patients in North Wing Seven, an internal medicine, diabetes, metabolic, cerebral vascular, and telemetry floor
    • Ability to care for patients requiring insulin drips, glucose monitoring, cardiac drips, cardiac monitors, cerebral vascular status assessments, and other necessary treatments
    • Understanding of growth and development principles across different life stages
    • Ability to assess patient data, develop and implement care plans, administer prescribed medications, perform procedures, and operate necessary equipment
