Description

Reporting directly to the Campus Director, the Career Services Coordinator's responsibilities include guiding students through career readiness initiatives prior to graduation, facilitating job placement processes for graduates, and aligning efforts with the needs of students, alumni, the institution, and relevant industries.

The Career Services Coordinator sets clear objectives for each aspect of the department's operations to ensure successful placement outcomes.


Responsibilities:


  • Adhere to all Company policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Meet or exceed department metrics and quotas, including talk time, interviews, hires, and monthly placement goals.
  • Meet with new Students and existing Students promoting collaborative relationships leading to student's successful completion and placement.
  • Track and maintain accurate graduate employment data.
  • Manage a caseload of graduates and support them in their job search.
  • Empower students and graduates to secure employment in their chosen field.
  • Provide assistance with resume writing, cover letter preparation, and interview techniques.
  • Offer guidance on interview techniques, workplace expectations, and resume best practices.
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve student and graduate employment objectives.
  • Support Directors in advertising, recruiting externship and placement sites, marketing to the community, and monitoring student progress during externships.
  • Participate in student orientation sessions and career fairs.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and student orientations.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students to promote career services department offerings.
  • Undertake other duties or special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:


  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness to work in a fastpaced, dynamic, and resultsoriented environment.
  • Previous experience in job placement, staffing, career services, recruitment, sales, or inbound/outbound calling preferred.
  • Ability to consistently meet established goals and deadlines.

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Higher Education: 1 year (preferred)

  • Staffing: 2 years (preferred)
  • Student interaction: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Anaheim, CA: Relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (preferred)
