Description

Under general supervision, Patient Account Rep Support performs a number of clerical tasks to efficiently handle Medicare, Medi-Cal and PPO collection follow up to secure payment which includes but not limited to insurance verification, authorization verification and follow-up calls to insurance payers.

Core Competencies:

Verifies all Managed Medi-Cal patients insurance eligibility and coverage as well as appropriate billing address.
Relieves the receptionist for rest and meal periods.
Preforms collection follow up for PPO insurance by contacting insurance companies.
