As a Middle School Spanish/ELA Teacher:
You will play a critical role in student success. We want you to build an exciting classroom environment while maintaining a rigorous learning focused curriculum.

This position requires a valid Michigan (elementary/secondary) teaching certificate with (FF certification) required. We will work with individuals that do not possess a Michigan Teaching Certificate but have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish or a related field for certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate; Spanish/ELA (Majors and/or Minors)
  • Knowledge of Michigan's Curriculum Expectations in English and Spanish
  • Strong belief that all students can and will be successful
  • Able to plan effective, engaging lessons and use data to plan and adjust instruction
  • Able to motivate atrisk students
  • Ability to interact positively with and motivate students
  • Excellent classroom management
  • Willingness to teach a lesson as part of the interview process

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
$42, $74,590.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
