    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    Job Details:


    • Work in post-surgical setting caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery

    • Collaborate closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs

    • Care for post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines

    • Epic experience required

    • Navy blue scrubs required

    • 1 year of experience required at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score, or 2 years of experience with no testing required

    • Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via email

    • No block schedule or 48-hour requests

    • Local candidates from certain ineligible counties not being accepted

    • Up-to-date email address must be provided at time of submission

    This major academic medical center is a 600+ bed facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services including specialized surgical programs. The facility focuses on advanced medical care with particular expertise in colorectal and urologic surgical procedures. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes advanced electronic medical record systems to support clinical operations.

    Adex Job ID # Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
