    Travel RN – Med-Surg / Colorectal Surgery – Days

    Location: Albany, NY

    Assignment Length: 13 weeks

    Start Date: 4/6/26

    Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays

    Experience Required: 2 years

    Position Overview:

    Seeking an experienced RN to provide care for post-surgical patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgeries. You will work closely with Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses to manage ostomy and wound care needs. Patient population includes post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines.

    Requirements:

    • Current New York State RN license

    • BLS certification required

    • 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing, or

    • 2 years of experience without testing requirement

    • Epic EMR experience required

    Additional Notes:

    • Candidates must have solid Med-Surg experience

    • Assignment located in a post-surgical setting with a collaborative team approach
