Millennium Pool Management is hiring Lifeguards for the 2024 summer season - Memorial through Labor Day in Alexandria, VAWe offer:
- Full time and Part time seasonal positions
- Flexible schedule
- Competitive pay rate depending on pool, experience, position and availability. Up to $19/hr.

Job duties include:
- Ensure the safety of patrons in and around the swimming pool.
- Prevent hazardous situations, enforce pool rules, and act quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
- Prepare the pool daily for opening and closing.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitary conditions of the swimming pool.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 18 years
- Must be a good swimmer.
- Dependable and reliable
- Valid American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid, CPR-AED for Lifeguard or Shallow water Lifeguard
- Valid Pool Operator Certifications
- Must be able to pass background check and drug testing
Discounted training is available for prospective employees.
- ** Red Cross Lifeguard Certification eligibility requirements:_
- _Swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl and breaststroke._
- _Surface dive 7-10 ft retrieve 10-pound object return to surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit water without a ladder._
- _Tread water using only your feet for 2 minutes._

License/Certification:
- Lifeguard Certificate (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Alexandria, VA 22315: Relocate before starting work (required)
