Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lady in a wheelchair with daily activities as needed.
- Operate a hoyer lift safely and effectively to transfer the individual when required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and caring environment.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and administer medications as per instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for the individual.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a caregiver preferred, but not required.
- Ability to operate a hoyer lift or willingness to learn.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable transportation to travel to the lady's location as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule:
- Hours will vary according to the lady's needs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
