Description

This position is responsible to supervise juveniles to ensure compliance with the conditions of their court-ordered supervision conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Supervise defendants/delinquents to ensure compliance

Prepare Pre-Sentence Investigation and Social History reports to provide sentencing guidelines for the Judge

Coordinate and communicate with other agencies to assure that juveniles receive the proper resources to assist defendants

Attend Juvenile court as scheduled to provide additional information to the Judge

Arrest and detain juveniles who violate probation/parole using training in handcuffs, leg irons and other restraint devices

Prepare and maintain both paper and electronic records that include documentation of contacts with defendants/juveniles.

Transport defendants/juveniles to detention facilities, treatment programs and court as required.

WORK HOURS - Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pay:
$22.48 per hour
