Salary:
$22 per hour


Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate Top Loaders and/or Empty Handlers effectively and safely.
  • Drive and operate heavy equipment such as mule jockeys, tractor trailers, and 52K Forklifts with precision and caution.
  • Handle heavy containerized, palletized, or loose cargoes in a high volume, fastpaced environment.
  • Perform various physical and laborintensive tasks as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Obtain Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC) within 90 days of start date.
  • Communicate effectively in Basic English, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating Top Loaders and/or Empty Handlers.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving heavy equipment, including mule jockeys, tractor trailers, and 52K Forklifts.
  • Ability to efficiently maneuver selected heavy equipment during practice exams.
  • Physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts and extended hours as required.
