Are you interested in joining a dynamic team within Amazon Operations? As a member of the Site Procurement Operations Team in Elmont, you will have the opportunity to lead and execute strategic procurement projects for our internal business partners at the local, regional, national, and European level.

As a Site Procurement Manager, you will collaborate with internal Amazon stakeholders, diverse procurement colleagues, and external vendors to procure valuable solutions for the business. You will be a part of a cross-functional team at one of our logistics sites, acting as a strategic business partner.

In this role, you will drive continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability while mitigating legal and supply risks through your procurement initiatives. This includes ensuring accurate invoicing and payment processes for both Amazon and vendors, and taking corrective and preventive measures when necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as a subject matter expert for a local category, identifying and capitalizing on cost-saving opportunities, conducting spend analysis, and supporting the development of a country-wide procurement strategy. You will also drive additional monetary value through more complex cost and revenue management strategies.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and integrate Amazon's sustainability goals and processes by reducing waste, reusing materials, and ensuring CSR compliance. You will also contribute to strategic cross-functional teams and initiatives at the EU level.
