- Hardware development for testing electrical components and subsystems within medical imaging systems.
- Characterization and verification of components and subsystems.
- Verification of system requirements and report generation.
- Inventory management of hardware components for development system builds.
- Printed circuit board design and layout, along with fabrication and assembly vendor management.
- Creation of bench-level experimental setups and interfaces for data collection.
- Code generation for test setups, user interfaces for debugging, and automation of characterization routines.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Over 5 years of industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with CAD design and layout, preferably using Spice simulator and Altium.
- Testing experience with microelectronic components and systems.
- Lab experience with instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, data acquisition boards, etc.) and circuit debugging.
- Hands-on experience with systems utilizing FPGAs or microcontrollers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and technical analyses.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Willingness to relocate to the greater St. Louis, MO area.
- Industry experience in creating detailed test documentation (plans, protocols, reports).
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or over 7 years of industry experience.
- Previous ownership of requirements generation.
- Product verification efforts for medical device products, including building and maintaining test/calibration systems.
- Proficient programming skills in Python or C/C++.
- Experience collaborating with or managing outside vendors to specify, develop, and qualify test solutions.
