    Are you a seasoned Civil Engineer looking to make a big impact in a dynamic, small company doing significant projects?


    Francis Construction Group (FCG), a growing and established small company in the Chicagoland area, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our close-knit team.

    In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a variety of challenging civil and structural projects, including:

    Excavation
    Water & Sewer Line Installation
    Site Demolition
    Full Building Demolition

    Responsibilities:


    Lead and manage all aspects of assigned civil and structural projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Oversee project planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and resource allocation.
    Manage project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
    Ensure compliance with all project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental permits.
    Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop solutions.
    Maintain clear and concise project documentation.
    Collaborate effectively with clients, designers, and internal team members.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in project management.
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (PE License preferred).
    Proven track record of successfully delivering complex civil engineering projects.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.) and AutoCAD.
    Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    Thrives in a small company environment where your contributions have a significant impact.
