RJS Property Services; fine gardening in Biddeford Pool, ME.Assistant Gardener to help with tasks such as, install and maintain flowers, trees and green spaces on client properties. *No lawn mowing.
Responsibilities include monitoring the health of the plants and green spaces, watering and feeding the soil, trimming trees and shrubs up to 12ft in height, weeding gardens and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter.
You should know how; or be able to learn how, to use and maintain hand tools, including shovel, weeder, rake, and pruners.
Track and submit your completed work hours. Ultimately, you will assist in making sure the client's gardens are healthy and beautiful.Responsibilities as directed to do so:
Install and maintain seasonal plants Mulch, edge, weed, and stake gardens Prune trees, bushes, herbaceous perennials and annuals Maintain and retain gardening equipment Monitor and maintain the health of plants Deal with pest problems that could damage plants Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter Skills: Experience as a Gardener Familiarity with landscaping design Knowledge of regional plant life Knowledge of local pests The ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs The ability to remain on your feet or knees for long periods of time A love of the outdoors and plant life.
