Medical Essential Diagnostics, which is a rapidly growing healthcare provider for all frontline workers in the state of New Jersey.

We perform comprehensive and confidential testing and examinations for frontline workers insured under the state as well as their family members at no out of pocket cost.

We perform various tests in house at each of our clinics such as EKG, Stress, Echo, Ultrasounds, Pulmonary Function Tests, Bloodwork, Sleep Studies, ABI, and Urinalysis.

We are hiring a
Medical Scheduler to efficiently and accurately schedule patient appointments in our clinics. We are looking for a friendly, hardworking individual who is comfortable talking on the phone.

The primary tasks, duties, and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Calling patients to schedule appointments for consultations, evaluations, and treatments; follow-up or re-evaluation
  • Entering instructions needed for scheduling in the electronic medical record
  • Utilizing appropriate schedule codes in scheduling office and hospital based medical procedures, for patients with appropriate provider and time/location slot
  • Entering accurate data into various electronic systems
  • Take or respond to telephone calls promptly to establish or confirm appointments

Qualifications:


  • Education: HS Diploma (required); Associate's Degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge: Prior practice management system experience or at least one year of previous patient registration or a related role (preferred)
  • Communication skills: Communicate with patients both on oneonone basis and over the phone.
  • Computer skills: Working knowledge of PC and are also proficient with Microsoft Office tools (including Microsoft Excel)
  • Detail orientation: Keen eye for details to examine documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Organizational skills: Must be highly organized individuals with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage changing priorities and a heavy workload.

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
