As a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) at United Rentals, you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Additional duties include the following:
Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systemsAssist in the training of lower level technicians as neededMaintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisWhen required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional mannerAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving record3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and toolsAdvanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of toolsStrong mechanical background knowledge of various enginesMust own tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
