- Works independently based on provided instructions and established procedures.
- Conducts repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance services.
- Inspects, diagnoses, and fixes electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
- Utilizes electronic vehicle computer systems to identify issues and initiate repairs.
- Estimates repair costs and requisitions necessary parts.
- Ensures all work is completed within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
- Responds to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Performs safety checks on vehicles.
- Completes essential paperwork using fleet maintenance software to document repairs, parts usage, and repair times.
- Supports senior Mechanics in project completion.
- Addresses repairs identified in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area in compliance with OSHA Standards and company policies.
- Education: Not required.
- Experience: Two (2) years of relevant work experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position with or without accommodations.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical assessment.

- Coordination and dexterity (e.g., keyboarding, machine operation) are required throughout the day.
