We are a growing company covering Fort Wayne and the surrounding area since 1951, currently seeking dependable, team oriented lawn care technicians to join our team.

The key responsibility of this position is to perform mowing and trimming services to beautify a customer's lawn.

You will learn a variety of lawn care tools and techniques to improve both the quality of the work you provide and to limit the time required to complete that work.

Work Schedule

• You'll work Monday to Friday, up to 10hour shifts (with overtime in the peak season), starting at 8:00am depending on the season.
• Some Saturday or holiday half days are offered on volunteer basis depending on schedules.
• We provide transportation from our shop to job sites. You'll drive or ride in a work vehicle from the shop to the various job sites.

Responsibilities include:

• Mow lawns and trim grass using a variety of equipment, such as commercial zeroturn mowers, push mowers, blowers, and trimmers
• Ensure that all lawns are maintained to a high standard and meet the specific requirements of each client
• You will work closely with our team and be committed to delivering highquality services to our clients
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment to ensure it is in safe working order.
• Edge and weed gardens, walkways, and other outdoor areas as specified
• Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner.

Requirements:

• Comfortable working with lawn care equipment.
• Availability to work variable hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime
• Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to the branch.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances
• Able to pass a preemployment drug test

Desired, but not required:

• 1 year of previous Lawn Care experience

Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour
