- Manage patients pre and post procedurally, not expected to perform procedures
- Provide quality care to inpatient and outpatient interventional and structural cardiology patients
- Participate in admission, rounding, consults, and discharge notes
- Perform clinic visits with 14 outpatients per full day
- Full-time day shift, 40-hour work week, 4 x 10-hour shifts
- No call, expected to participate in weekend and holiday coverage
- Hybrid inpatient/outpatient setting
- Opportunities to participate in committees for improving care
- Educate APP fellows, MD students, residents, and onboarding of new APPs
- Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
- Current NP or PA license in North Carolina with prescriptive privileges and DEA license
- BLS/ACLS Certified
- Acute Care Certification for Nurse Practitioners
- Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants for PAs
- Minimum of 1 year of Cardiology experience
- 457-bed, not-for-profit hospital in Concord, NC
- Extensive inpatient and outpatient network with specialized centers
- Complete cardiac care services from stress testing to cardiovascular surgery
