- Drive global commercial marketing efforts of the Chromium product line
- Execute Chromium growth and retention strategies for on market and new products.
- Drive Chromium product line customer segmentation, positioning and messaging.
- Ensures market information is acquired, competitive activity is monitored, and customer needs are identified. Identify and translate customer needs into marketing positioning and activities.
- Executes and reports performance of full funnel, omnichannel campaigns with an iterative data-driven approach to all campaign tactics with close collaboration with other departments.
- Drive a high level of interaction and engagement with product management and between other departments (e.g., Sales, Technical Support and R&D) to ensure coordination of activities and alignment on common goals.
- Generates business plans in partnership with product management and sales to build sales funnel and growth strategies in prioritized customer segments and supports go-to-market and sustaining marketing efforts.
- BA/BS or equivalent degree in Life Sciences
- A minimum 6 years of product marketing experience in the life sciences
- Experience in developing marketing strategy and where to play analysis
- Experience project managing activities with cross-functional teams
- Must be able to build credibility and relationships across functions and levels
- Ability to highly effectively communicate and influence internal and external audiences, using both oral and written communication skills
- High level of organization, multi-tasking, and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- MS or PhD Preferred
- Experience in instrumentation, single cell analysis, NGS, data analysis
- Market development and marketing communications experience highly desired

Description
We are seeking a Staff Strategic Marketing Manager to support the global downstream commercial efforts of our Chromium portfolio. This position will be responsible for supporting the marketing strategy and execution for new and on-market products across key segments and research areas aligned with and supporting achievement of strategic and revenue goals. A strong understanding of customers, competitive landscape, and segments must be leveraged to drive strategy, positioning, and messaging in all product marketing and sales enablement activities. In close partnership with product and regional marketing full funnel, omnichannel campaigns and tactics will be executed, performance reported, and programs refined to support revenue targets. Strong cross-functional collaboration will be required to drive alignment and coordination of org-wide marketing and sales activities supporting single cell. The position will report into the Director, Single Cell Product Marketing.

Below is the base pay range for this full time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one's skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company's total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x's equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program. Your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company's total compensation package during the hiring process.
