We offer a comprehensive range of services to simplify the moving process, including downsizing, organizing, paperwork sorting, layout planning, coordination with movers, packing and unpacking.
Our goal is to alleviate the stress and hassle associated with moving and provide personalized support to our clients.Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Move Manager at A Simpler Life Now.
As a Move Manager, your daily tasks will involve coordinating and overseeing the entire moving process for our senior clients.
This includes packing, unpacking, assisting with decision-making on belongings, organizing and labeling items, coordinating with charities for donations, arranging estate sales or online auctions, and collaborating with hauling companies to remove unwanted items.
Your role will also involve providing emotional support and guidance to clients throughout the move.Qualifications
- Experience in move management or a related field+++
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with seniors and their families
- Knowledge of downsizing techniques and strategies+++
- Familiarity with local charities and resources for donations+
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
