    My client is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to add to their growing team This role is not your typical Accounting role.

    As a Senior Accounting Analyst you will be exposed to many special projects for complex Accounting matters such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, etc., FP&A, global policy alignment, & more.

    You'll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, tackle complex problems, and drive positive change that shapes the company's future.

    Client Details

    One of my clients is a leading, $20B manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst due to massive growth within the last few years.

    In 2022, the company opened a newly created manufacturing facility in Milwaukee, WI.

    They are the world's second largest producer of equipment in their niche with offices in 150 nations and is showing no signs of slowing down.

    With the expansive growth, my client is looking to add a Senior Accounting Analyst to the team. As a Senior Accounting Analyst you will have a unique opportunity to be exposed to complex Accounting.

    As opposed to spending your time on month end close, you will be trusted as an advisor to the business to handle matters related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, FP&A, & more In this role, your work will have a meaningful impact and contribute to the success of the organization.

    Description
    Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, including but not limited to GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements.
    Conduct research on complex accounting issues and provide recommendations to management based on findings. Analyze financial data and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
    Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and other financial reports in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

    Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, financial instruments, and other areas as needed.

    Assist in the design and evaluation of internal controls related to financial reporting processes to mitigate risk and ensure the integrity of financial information.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to address accounting issues, support business initiatives, and drive process improvements.

    Support external audits and reviews by providing documentation, explanations, and analyses as requested by auditors and regulatory agencies.
    Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to ensure ongoing compliance and professional development.
    Profile
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    CPA certification preferred
    4+ years of experience in accounting, experience in public accounting is a plus
    Strong understanding of GAAP and proficiency in interpreting and applying accounting standards.
    Experience researching and resolving complex accounting issues.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications; experience with ERP systems preferred.
    Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
