Description

As the Strategic Accounts Analyst, you will be responsible for SKU analysis, ordering, forecasting, SKU maintenance, reporting, product knowledge (general as learned), and store visits for general auditing purposes as it applies to your SKU's.

Participate in weekly meetings with client discussing and resolving issues and concerns as they relate to your SKU's.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform category and program analysis to maintain and improve Client turns and service levels
  • Maintain Client SKU attributes within Client software programs using Client direction
  • Forecast Client sales and coordinate inventory stocking levels at Company with Company's logistics and planning team
  • Provide sales and inventory analysis to Company account manager
  • Travel to Client retail stores across the Midwest performing audits, training Client associates, and assisting customers with sales decisions. (typically once per month may travel on client aircraft or drive yourself)
  • Write and submit monthly store audit reports to Client (one per store visit)
  • Write and submit weekly sales analysis reports to Client (one per week)
  • Write and submit monthly sales analysis reports to Client (one per month)
  • Support account managers with various small projects and periodic training events (very limited)
  • Conduct weekly Client team meetings to review ordering strategies, program changes, promotional schedules, and daily issues
  • Provide daily support to approximately ~340 retail stores regarding order delivery questions, general product knowledge questions (which you can refer to tech services), service levels and customer complaints/concerns.
  • Respond to all Client phone calls (corporate and stores) within the same day and preferably within a few hours
  • Perform ordering based on service level, inventory goals, and promotional schedules from Client (ordering includes using the Client Purchase Order system)
  • Maintain SKU attributes and forecast data within Client's demand chain management software
  • Analyze, and present metrics data annually to Client during annual account review.
  • Represent Company in a professional manner at all times
  • Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Production & Inventory Control, or equivalent experience related to job description.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to professionally and effectively mitigate client concerns
  • Ability to multi task on daily duties
  • Ability to propose and implement creative solutions and ideas
  • Possess a "determined" approach in order to achieve objectives
  • Enthusiastic and Self motivated
  • Experience or understanding of creating ad hoc reports with Excel or other reporting tools a plus
  • Ability or understanding of querying, linking, and assembling data from multiple sources a plus
  • Planning and forecasting experience or understanding desired
  • Analyzing & decision making skills (general common sense)

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook required
  • Ability to learn new computer programs
  • General notes about the position
  • The position uses MS Excel daily. The applicant does not need to be an Excel wizard however a good working knowledge of Excel will be required to be successful. Excel skill examples needed are such things as performing VLOOKUP's, multiple sorts, conditional formatting, joining basic pieces of data together from multiple sources using simple formulas such as concatenates and other general Excel functions including simple graphing
  • Position is salary based
  • Position is FT located in Eau Claire, WI and is an 8am5pm M-F position with some flexibility that can be discussed at time of interview
  • Position reports to Account Manager located in Chippewa Falls, WI
  • Must be able to work alone therefore be selfmotivated
  • Confidentiality is significant due to working on site in a location among 65+ other vendors (several being competition)
  • Attention to detail is very important
  • Travel limited
