Position:
Residential Aide_

Program: Park Street Residence_
Location: New Haven_
Salary: $18.00/hour_
Schedule: Per Diem (Days, hours and shifts will vary.) Per Diems are required to pick up 2 shifts per month._

Program Summary:

A transitional program that provides case management, crisis intervention and symptom management support to people with significant mental illness and co-occurring disorders in a supervised setting.

With the support of staff, clients are connected to community resources for clinical treatment, vocational skills training, and psycho-social opportunities.

Position Summary:

Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works on the Residential Behavioral Health Treatment care team to support clients' recovery from mental illness, substance use, and homelessness.

Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED
2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
Valid Connecticut Driver's License
Regular and predictable attendance is required

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
