The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising labor management and planning of inbound outbound Product slotting customer communication activities daily including labor scheduling space utilization equipment manpower.Responsibilities
· Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities plan and assure continuous improvement.Effectively keeps senior management client representatives informed of critical issues that affect operations
Ensures development systems procedures managing operations equipment products safe profitable manner company policies guidelines procedures Manages operations meet prescribed productivity service goals complies terms outlined site operating agreement client Implements reports ongoing cost savings measures Provides ideas suggestions efficient operations Meets client specified KPI's Quality system requirements Manages achieve prescribed objectives Applies sound communication motivational techniques create programs fairly equitably supervise counsel discipline team members Provides direction support Human Resources Assists creating programs hiring training professional development Participates performance evaluation recommending promotions wage increases HR activities Has overall training evaluation responsibilities warehouse staff Plans daily work schedule reviewing existing work orders arrival notices instructions customers Assess priorities time sensitivity available resources Assigns duties appropriate warehouse staff Reviews pending jobs trends plan reorganization warehouse space needed changes levels supplies equipment staffing needs Trains new staff assigned duties delegate training responsibility experienced team members Assesses progress trainees adds additional duties appropriate Keeps informed quantity quality jobs performed day providing guidance advice necessary Assigns supervisory duties experienced team members leads lower-level warehouse staff Keeps abreast progress problems Manager advised progress problems requiring attention daily basis Holds regular meetings with warehouse staff assess group status Discusses ideas improvement Keeps staff informed new developments Assists physical operations as needed Delivers results leveraging skills right people right time Maintains high degree motivation team retain focus highest levels customer satisfaction Provides ongoing growth development opportunities team members Provides input conducts annual performance reviews teams Supports adherence Standard Operating Procedures SOPs Supports trains teams adherence SOPs corporate client
