Departmental Objective

The mission further extends to providing for meaningful, pleasant, and memorable dining experiences, including special theme meals dining events, in support of inclusivity and other civic values of CNU, as well as that add to the quality of the cultural life of the CNU community and the Commonwealth, as welcoming gathering places for students, faculty, staff and guests. In addition, Dining Services aspires to provide high levels of excellence and professionalism in rendering superior customer-focused services to students, faculty, staff, guests, and visitors of the University, with close attention to detail and with a caring and concerned approach, targeted at delivering outstanding results in serving customer needs and achieving high levels
- of customer satisfaction.
Purpose of the Position

  • This position will maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, checking and scanning I.D. card of students, and other forms of payments. It will ensure all equipment in the front of the house is working properly. It will ensure that all supplies are on hand by reporting shortage to FOH manager. It will also monitor students and other patrons entering and exiting facility.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and positive communication with patrons and coworkers
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to properly handle all forms of payments
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
    Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:
Prior customer service experience. Cash handling experience.
Additional Consideration(s)

Experience:
Experience working in a high volume kitchen.
