    Job Title: Community Living Program Manager at Envision Unlimited

    Envision Unlimited is a comprehensive care organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities of all ages and backgrounds. Established in Chicago in 1948, Envision Unlimited has a rich history of providing compassionate care across various services such as community living, day programs, behavioral health, and foster care.

    Job Description

    The Community Living Program Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and administration of community living programs. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and leading the start-up of new programs in the Chicagoland area and beyond.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and maintain community living services activities.
    • Manage division budget and expenses.
    • Ensure upkeep of physical sites.
    • Supervise program implementation and compliance with regulations.
    • Collaborate with leadership to provide quality day services.
    • Coordinate member recruitment activities.
    • Establish objectives and policies for community living services.
    • Provide staff direction, training, and goal setting.
    • Implement evaluation systems to track program goals.
    • Maintain relationships with funding agencies.
    • Identify areas for service improvement and development.
    • Participate in professional organizations to stay informed about industry trends.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Supervise community living services staff.
    • Recruit, train, and develop employees.
    • Enforce agency policies and handle employee matters.
    • Perform related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in human services or related field OR Bachelor's degree with supervisory experience in developmental disabilities.
    • Pass background checks.

    Physical Requirements

    • Sit/Stand for extended periods.
    • Utilize office equipment and occasionally lift objects.

    Work Environment

    The work environment may involve working alone or with others in a low to moderate noise setting.
