Tasks and Process

As an electronics technician for industrial engineering, you will install power supply systems, electrical drives, as well as systems for measurement, control, communication, and lighting technology. Your responsibilities also include commissioning, maintenance, and repair of such systems.

In the first part of your apprenticeship, you will gain a broad foundation of knowledge and skills. You will learn how to calculate, dimension, build, and measure electronic circuits. Later on, you will deepen your knowledge and skills in various departments at ZF.

Requirements and Duration of Apprenticeship

To apply for this apprenticeship, you need a good secondary school leaving certificate. The regular duration of the apprenticeship is 3.5 years.

With good theoretical and practical performance during your apprenticeship or with a corresponding educational background, you can be granted early admission to the IHK final exam. This will shorten your apprenticeship to 3
