Red Eye Collection, owned by Oscar Urizar, is a highly rated wedding photography company in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since 2010, our photographers have documented hundreds of weddings, including many at SF City Hall. We take great pride in our meticulous attention to detail and our commitment to surpassing expectations at every wedding.

Our portfolio celebrates the diversity of couples we photograph across varying budget ranges - from huge weddings at multiple venues to intimate civil ceremonies at city hall.

Oscar, the lead photographer at Red Eye Collection, is excited to expand our social media presence with consistent, engaging content on our social media platforms featuring our gorgeous photos.

We are in search of a Social Media Manager to lead this initiative and help share the beautiful stories of the couples we capture.

Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a Social Media Manager.

The Social Media Manager will take charge of our social media accounts (primarily Instagram), create content strategies, write engaging content, interact with our audience, and optimize our online presence.

Close collaboration with Oscar and our website/SEO manager is key to authentically capturing and conveying the unique voice of Red Eye Collection.

This role would first conduct a thorough assessment to provide detailed insights into our social media presence.

Once we agree on a path forward and determine a strategy, the Social Media Manager will be responsible for the hands-on management and enhancement of our social media channels, ensuring our work reaches a broader audience.

This position is contract only, for approximately 5-8 hours per week.


Requirements:

• Social Media Marketing experience in a similar industry (creative, arts, wedding, photography, etc.)
• Experience in developing content strategies
• Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Attention to detail and creativity
• Experience in photography is a plus
• Experience in the wedding industry is a plus
